When Art Becomes an Experience
At Le Mummarelle, we believe that hospitality is not simply about beautiful, welcoming spaces. It is about emotions, details and stories that have the power to leave a lasting impression.
It is from this philosophy that our collaboration with artist Roberta Imparato was born. Her works become an integral part of our surroundings, creating an authentic dialogue between hospitality, art and culture.
Born in Naples in 1968, Roberta began her artistic education at the SS. Apostoli Art School in Naples, later continuing her studies at the Higher Institute of Design. Upon completing her studies, she began a professional career in graphic design, while never losing touch with painting, which has always remained her most authentic form of expression.
In recent years, her artistic journey has entered a new and more intense chapter, marked by a renewed and deeply personal exploration in which colour, texture and light become the means through which she conveys emotions and impressions.
Her oil paintings, distinguished by their rich, tactile quality and vibrant colours, alternate with works created in acrylic, reflecting a creative process free from rigid conventions and limitations. Her works do not simply seek to depict something; rather, they invite the viewer to pause, engage and discover a personal meaning within them.
Since 2005, Roberta has exhibited her work in galleries and art spaces in Naples, Milan and Paris, bringing with her a sensibility deeply rooted in the spirit of Naples, while remaining open to international influences, languages and atmospheres.
Her art is a meeting of contrasts: texture and lightness, intensity and delicacy, order and freedom.
Perhaps this is why one sentence, more than any other, captures the essence of her artistic world:
“Only by getting to know her can one understand the delicate web that, strangely enough, does not entrap, but rather sets free the meaning of her works.”
An image that perfectly embodies her art: a delicate thread that does not constrain the eye, but instead leads it towards new emotions and interpretations.
